Creeping into the comments section of a recent Salon article, I found an insane collection of responses. Maybe I just am not familiar with Salon comments, but these seemed particularly horrid. Is it a reflection of America’s true reaction to poverty , or just of Salon readership? In either case, it’s ugly.
